Sphaeropthalma (лат.) — род ос-немок из подсемейства Sphaeropthalminae.

Описание
Северная и Южная Америка. Глаза полусферические, неопушенные. Грудь самок грушевидной формы. Коготки лапок без зубцов[2][3].
Систематика
Более 80 видов. Точное число назвать невозможно, так как 66 видов описаны только по самцам, 20 видов описаны только по самкам. И лишь 5 видов описаны по обоим полам (Pitts et al., 2004). Относится к трибе Sphaeropthalmini[2][4].
