Geotrigona

Geotrigona Moure, 1943[1] — род безжальных пчёл, из трибы Meliponini семейства Apidae. Не используют жало при защите. Хотя жало у них сохранилось, но в сильно редуцированном виде.

Неотропика: от Мексики до Аргентины и Парагвая[2][3].
