Южная Америка: Аргентина, Бразилия, Парагвай[3].

Описание

Мелкие пчёлы (длина от 5 до 7 мм). Переднее крыло с тремя субмаргинальными ячейками. Лицо чёрное. Глаза голые, без волосков. Шпоры голеней средней пары ног с тонкими зубчиками[3].

Классификация

Род был описан в 1907 году по единственному виду и долго оставался олиготипическим, включая пять видов. И только в 2000-е годы были открыты и описаны ещё около полусотни новых видов. Род включён в трибу Protandrenini из подсемейства Panurginae[4][5][6][7][8].
