Тапинома

Тапинома[1] (лат. Tapinoma, от др.-греч. τᾰπείνωμα «нижнее положение», из-за привычки гнездиться под предметами) — это род мелких муравьёв подсемейства долиходерины. Более 70 видов.

Распространение

Большинство видов представлены в тропиках и субтропиках. Инвазивный вид Tapinoma melanocephalum (Fabricius, 1793) является космополитом. В фауне России и сопредельных стран встречается 2-3 вида.
