Schizopteridae
Schizopteridae (лат.) — семейство хищных клопов. 120 видов. Встречаются повсеместно. Тело мелкое, компактное, округлое, длина от 0,8 до 2 мм. 1- и 2-й членики усиков короткие. Лабиум 3- или 4-члениковый. Голова направлена вниз, глаза крупные. Формула лапок у самок от 2-2-2, 2-2-3 или 3-3-3 (у самцов 2-2-3, 3-3-2 или 3-3-3). Гениталии самцов асимметричные[1].

Систематика
В мировой фауне насчитывается 35 родов и 120 видов вида этого семейства (выделяют три подсемейства Hypselosomatinae, Ogeriinae, Schizopterinae). Первоначально рассматривались в составе семейства Ceratocombidae[1][2].
