Биография

В 1964 году окончил Вашингтонский университет получив бакалавра гуманитарных наук по антропологии, а в 1967 году там же магистра гуманитарных наук по антропологии. В 1967 году в Чикагском университете получил доктора философии по антропологии.

Начиная с 1964 года занимался археологическими исследованиям цивилизации долины Инда. С 2007 году проводил изыскания в Омане.[2]

Профессор-эмерит антропологии кафедры антропологии Пенсильванского университета.

Куратор Азиатских коллекций Музея археологии и антропологии Пенсильванского университета.[3]
