Пелий (Хаония)

Пелий, также Пеллий или Пелиум (греч. Πήλιον, Πέλλιον или Πήλεον) — это укрепленное поселение греческого хаонийского[1] племени дассаретов[2][3][4], располагавшееся на месте современного Горна Горицы[5], в Албании, на древней границе между Эпиром и Иллирией. Позднее Пелиум использовался как македонская приграничная крепость.[6][7] В 335 году до. н. э., сразу после битвы при Пелиуме, он был занят дарданцами под предводительством Клейтоса Дарданского, сражавшегося вместе с Главкосом Тавлантским против Александра Великого.[8][9]
